Oscars 2020: Joaquin Phoenix Wins Best Actor
Joaquin Phoenix wins the Oscar for Best Actor at the 92nd Academy Awards for his role as Arthur Fleck in Joker.
This is Joaquin Phoenix‘s fourth Oscar nomination and first win. He was previously nominated for Best Actor for her performance in The Master and Walk the Line and Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Gladiator.
This win does not come as a surprise. Joaquin Phoenix has won a Golden Globe, BAFTA, and SAG Award this season.
