Oscars 2017: Viola Davis Wins Best Supporting Actress
Hey, guys!
It’s Oscar night! I’m currently watching the ceremony live and talking about some of the winners. And guess what? Viola Davis won Best Supporting Actress!
This also wasn’t a surprise. Everyone, including me, was expecting Viola to win. I loved her speech. She was so happy and emotional. It’s clear how much she has wanted an Oscar for all these years. I loved the points she made about what it is to be an artist and I, being an actor, really can relate. Honestly, I’m glad she won. She deserved an Oscar. Truthfully, she should have gotten this award years ago, but still, I’m glad she got it in 2017.
Don’t forget, this isn’t the only Oscar category I’m talking about tonight! I yet have to discuss Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Picture. If you want to check out previous reflections I wrote about the Oscars earlier on in the night, you can check them out by clicking on the links below.
